Liverpool here we come!

Date Published:

You may already be aware that we will soon be opening in Liverpool – one of the best known UK cities in the world. Home to The Beatles, wonderful Northern accents and of course, the Mersey. I’m so excited that I decided to list the things I’m most looking forward to:

Taking a Ferry across the Mersey – I have vague recollections of my mother singing this song around the house, but never knew what she was singing about. It wasn’t until I discovered the internet and managed to Google it that I came across this bad boy, makes total sense now.

Shopping – I hate to disappoint you with my stereotypical female obsession with shopping and having visited Liverpool in the past, I can’t wait to come back for the opening and hopefully tag on a little shopping while I’m there. The fact that we’re part of Liverpool One too means that I won’t even be able to escape the opportunity. Good choice of location I think.

The amazing accents – Far be it for me to ‘poke fun’ at accents, being Welsh myself and having a friend from Liverpool (I actually do a good impression). I just love the accent, pure and simple, any word with a ‘c’ or a ‘k’ in it and I’m mesmerised.

The history and the architecture – Not to go all serious on you, but I’ve started following a few Instagram accounts that show some epic views around the city. Give them a follow:

We’re most excited about being so centrally located ourselves on the famous Paradise Street. If you’ve got any pics of the street, pop them onto social media and give us a tag:

Facebook – Twitter – Instagram

Footballer spotting – 5 European Cup wins (I had to Google that) means that I’m bound to spot a famous footballer somewhere in Liverpool surely? I just want to see what they look like in the flesh and if they’ll fall over crying if I kick them in the shin…

Either way, there are lots of reasons for us to be excited about coming to Liverpool, another one being that it’ll be very close to Christmas so lots of Christmas party availability – you can book here now. What sort of Marketing Manager would I be if I didn’t get that in?

Ciao for now and hopefully see you in ‘pool soon.
