This panel discussion focuses on some of the most difficult questions facing the comedy industry on television comedy, free speech and censorship. Does free speech or censorship make television comedy more inclusive/exclusive? How successful can comedians be in using comedy as a means of engaging audiences in debates on topics that are the subject of censorship? These questions will be debated by an expert panel including comedian Joy Carter, and academics Chiara Bucaria (University of Bologna) and Louise Peacock (De Montfort University). This will be lively! Come along and have your say!Book a ticket
