Wales will take on the Barbarians at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff on Saturday 30th November and Warren Gatland will coach the Baa-Baas team. Wales women will also face the Barbarians making it an exciting double-header event*.
Gatland is set to leave his post as Wales head coach after the Rugby World Cup in Japan, so this fixture will be Wayne Pivac’s first match in charge of Wales as he goes up against his predecessor.
Wales last faced the Barbarians in 2012 when they beat the invitation side 30-21 at the (then) Millennium Stadium. Wales and the Barbarians have only played each other in four matches at test level, with honours currently even at two wins apiece.
*The Wales Women v Barbarians match will kick-off at 11:45am. The Wales Men v Barbarians match will kick-off at 2:45pm.
