January Lunches, Done Properly

January’s the moment when things finally slow down a bit.
The busy season’s behind us, diaries start to open up, and it feels like the right time to head down to Cosy Club for lunch.

So we’ve made it easy.

Every Monday to Thursday lunchtime, this January, every main is £12.
Burgers, sandwiches and proper plates – cooked the same way we always do, just with a January price that makes saying “shall we grab lunch?” feel like a very good idea.

Book ahead or simply stop by.

Celebrate New Year's Eve with a fried chicken sandwich topped with pickles and crispy fried onions, served alongside golden French fries and a cold glass of beer on a rustic wooden table.
Burgers, sandwiches & proper lunchtime plates

This is lunch the Cosy Club way – generous, comforting, and worth sitting down for.

If burgers are your thing, you’re in good hands.

The Cosy Smash Burger is a proper double: beef rib patties with cheddar, pickles, caramelised onions and house bacon jam, finished with gravy mayonnaise and served with dipping gravy on the side.

There’s also the Cosy Vegan Smash Burger, stacked just as proudly with a double plant-based patty, caramelised onion, tomato, black pepper aioli and house pickles.

For something classic, the Cosy House Burger keeps it spot on with a beef rib patty, pickles, house bacon jam and mizuna -with the option to add Somerset brie, treacle-cured pork belly, streaky bacon or Barber’s Vintage Cheddar if the mood takes you.

And if you fancy something with a bit of crunch, the Korean Fried Chicken Burger brings crispy chicken in a gochujang glaze, carrot and sesame slaw, garlic aioli, crispy onions and pickled gherkins.

A person holds a sandwich with chicken, lettuce, tomato, and bread over a plate on a wooden table—an inviting New Year's Eve meal. Another sandwich half, fries in a metal basket, and a glass of water are in the background.
Sandwiches worth leaving your desk for

Warm focaccia, generous fillings and fries on the side – just as they should be.

The Chicken & Smoked Bacon Focaccia comes loaded with butter-roasted chicken, crispy bacon, lettuce, tomato and red pepper pesto.
The Cod & Tartare Brioche pairs panko-crusted cod with pickled hispi cabbage, gem lettuce and house tartare sauce.

And for steak lovers, the Steak Sandwich features 28-day dry-aged British rump steak from Aubrey Allen, with caramelised onion, Dijon mayonnaise and watercress, served with peppercorn sauce for dipping.

There’s also the Grilled Romano Pepper & Feta Focaccia, with charred sweet peppers, picante olives, sundried tomatoes and whipped feta -proof that veggie lunches don’t need to feel like an afterthought.

Four people sit around a table enjoying a breakfast spread with pancakes, eggs, toast, fruit, coffee, and juice, each with a unique plate of food, on a round marble table.
For when lunch turns into brunch

Some days call for something a bit more generous.

The Cosy Butcher’s Brunch brings together treacle-cured pork belly chop, Cumberland sausages, smoked back bacon, free-range eggs, hash browns, chorizo beans and toasted sourdough.
Or take the lighter route with the Garden Brunch, featuring halloumi, free-range eggs, smashed avocado, roasted vine tomatoes and all the trimmings.

Lighter, but still satisfying

If you’re after something fresher, there are salads that still feel like a proper lunch.

The Warm Salad of Harissa & Maple Roasted Carrots comes with lemon and herb bulgur wheat, cumin yoghurt, chermoula and spiced pumpkin seed dukkah. Or try the Sticky Asian Chicken Salad, with soy-glazed buttermilk fried chicken, kimchi, pickled mooli and rice wine dressing – with the option to swap chicken for crispy cauliflower.

Every main is £12.  (excludes steaks)

A person with red-painted nails uses a fork to eat a plated fish dish garnished with greens and sauce—part of a special Lunch Offer—accompanied by white wine and a bowl of rice on a wooden table.
